About

Most physio and MSK clinics have a website built by someone who had never heard of MSK before taking the brief.

That shows. It shows in the generic layout, the absence of condition-specific pages, the local SEO that goes nowhere. It shows when patients search "physio near me" and find a competitor instead. Pergonia Digital was built as the answer to that problem, and nothing else.

Thomas Cordes, Founder

Pergonia Digital started from a frustration I kept seeing. Most physiotherapy and MSK clinic websites were built by generalist designers with no understanding of the sector. The result was identical: the same template layouts, the same absence of condition-specific content, the same local SEO that pointed nowhere. Clinics that delivered excellent care were invisible online, or looked indistinguishable from every other practice on the page.

I chose to work exclusively with independent physiotherapy, osteopathy and MSK clinics because this sector deserves better than what it has been getting from generic web design. The stakes are real. A patient comparing private physiotherapy to an NHS waiting list is making a judgment based partly on what they see online. That matters, and most clinic websites do not reflect it.

My background in regulated and client-facing environments shaped how I approach this work: careful, precise, and focused on what functions in the real world rather than what looks good in a mockup. Every project is designed and built directly by me. No outsourcing, no account managers, no third-party designers.

The approach.

A strong website makes a clinic easier to trust and easier to contact. That is how every site I build works: structured around the patient journey and the trust signals that turn visitors into enquiries.

Not generic signals. The ones that matter in healthcare. HCPC registration numbers, GOsC numbers, CSP and IOO membership logos — displayed in the way that reflects your regulatory standing, not just dropped in a footer. Condition-specific pages that show clinical depth. Local SEO built around the searches patients actually use.

Pergonia Digital is not a volume operation. Fewer projects means each one gets proper attention from start to finish.

Who this is for.

Independent clinics across the UK that want a website that does more than exist online. Clinics that understand a patient's first impression of their practice often happens on a screen before it happens in person.

Every site is structured to display professional registrations correctly — HCPC numbers, GOsC numbers, CSP and IOO membership logos. Not tucked in a footer. Placed and formatted as the regulatory trust signals they are.

How I work.

The same principles on every project, regardless of scope or size of clinic.

01

One Point of Contact

You speak directly to Thomas, the person designing and building your site. No account managers, no layers, no chasing for updates. Throughout the project and after it.

02

No Outsourcing

Every line of code is written by Thomas. No freelancers, no subcontractors. Your site is built by one person, with full attention on the detail from start to finish.

03

Fixed, Transparent Pricing

The price quoted is the price on the invoice. No hidden extras, no scope creep charges, no upsells on features that should be standard.

04

You Own Everything

All source files are yours on completion. No lock-in, no ongoing dependency. If you ever want to move elsewhere or manage the site yourself, there is nothing stopping you.

05

Local SEO Included

Every build is structured to rank for the searches that bring new patients in. "Physio near me." "Osteopath in [town]." "Back pain specialist near me." That is not an add-on. It is built into every project.

06

Sector Knowledge

Understanding how your sector operates changes everything about how a website is built. Condition pages need to reflect clinical pathways, not just list treatments. A patient enquiry form must handle special category health data correctly under UK GDPR. Booking integrations need to match the practice management software you already use — Cliniko, Jane App, WriteUpp — not the one that is easiest to embed. Professional registrations need to be displayed in a way that reflects your regulatory obligations. None of this is standard web design knowledge. It is specific to this sector, and it is how every project is approached.

A focused practice, by design.

Staying narrow is how the depth is maintained. These are not limitations — they are the conditions that make the work what it is.
